What Makes Fortress Different?
At Fortress Christian School, we partner with families to provide an education rooted in biblical truth, strong academics, and a community that encourages students to grow in faith and knowledge.
Faith at the Center
Biblical truth is woven throughout our curriculum.
Through daily Bible classes, chapel, and Christian teachers, students are encouraged to grow in their faith and relationship with God. Join us for daily chapel to see it for yourself!
Strong Academics
We believe students deserve an education that challenges and prepares them for the future. Our Christian teachers provide live instruction, academic guidance, and structured coursework to help students grow in knowledge and confidence.
A Real Community
Online learning doesn’t mean learning alone.
Students build relationships with teachers and peers through live classes, school activities, and shared experiences that help make Fortress feel like a community.
A New Structure for Learning
Fortress combines the structure of live instruction with the flexibility of independent learning. Students follow a consistent weekly schedule while developing important life skills, including time management, responsibility, and independence.
On both live instruction and independent learning days, students are expected to spend about one hour per course, whether attending scheduled classes or completing and submitting assignments.
Live Instruction Days
On Live Instruction days, students will attend scheduled live classes, learning directly from their Christian teachers, and interact with course materials and classmates.
Independent Learning Days
On Independent Learning days, students will work through assignments, study course materials, and complete coursework on their own schedule within established deadlines. Parents partner with students by helping guide them through their coursework and keeping them on track, while teachers remain available to provide guidance and support.
